Carnival Cruise Lines offers 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 day cruise adventures in January. Their Carnival Breeze specializes in 4 and 5 day cruises to Cozumel, Yucatan and Costa Maya. The 4-day cruises depart on Mondays, while the 5-day trips leave on Mondays and Saturdays.

Carnival Vista makes 7-day trips that depart on Saturdays. Vista has two different Western Caribbean itineraries: one goes to Cozumel, Belize and Mahogany Bay while the other visits Ocho Rios (Jamaica), Grand Cayman and Cozumel.

Carnival May Resume Cruises from Galveston August 1st

In a May 4th news release, Carnival Corporation announced they may operate Carnival Dream, Carnival Freedom and Carnival Vista cruises from Galveston beginning August 1st.

A second release on the same day clarified the cruise line’s plans for resumed operations with the following statement. “Any resumption of cruise operations – whenever that may be – is fully dependent on our continued efforts in cooperation with federal, state, local and international government officials. In our continued support of public health efforts, any return to service will also include whatever enhanced operational protocols and social gathering guidelines that are in place at the time of the resumption of cruise operations.  We are committed to supporting all public health efforts to manage the COVID-19 situation and will continue to keep our guests, travel agent partners and other stakeholders informed.”

Carnival has cancelled all North American cruises through July 31st.
