Royal Caribbean’s $125 Million Galveston Cruise Terminal to Open in October

There’s a big change coming to the Galveston cruise port – and a BIG SHIP!

A new $125 million terminal is under construction which will provide the space needed to welcome the Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas to Galveston. The Allure of the Seas is one of Royal Caribbean’Oasis Class ships, with capacity for 5,400 passengers.

The terminal is being constructed through a public-private partnership in which Royal Caribbean is building the terminal which it will then lease from the port.

Grandeur of the Seas to Replace Adventure of the Seas in Royal Caribbean’s Galveston Fleet

Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas is scheduled to temporarily leave the line-up of ships sailing from Galveston and will be replaced by Grandeur of the Seas.

Adventure of the Seas is currently sailing 4 and 5-night cruises to Mexico and will continue to do so through the end of April, 2022.

Grandeur of the Seas will sail from Galveston May through October of 2022.

For the summer and fall of 2022, Adventure of the Seas will home port at Cape Liberty in Bayonne, New Jersey where it will offer cruises to New England, Canada, Bermuda, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and The Bahamas.
